The Acer RE100 256GB is a 2.5-inch SATA III SSD designed to provide a fast and reliable storage upgrade for desktop PCs, laptops, and other compatible systems. It combines 3D NAND Flash with the SATA III 6Gb/s interface to deliver significantly faster performance than traditional mechanical hard drives.

The 256GB model reaches sequential read speeds of up to 562MB/s and sequential write speeds of up to 528MB/s, helping improve system boot times, application loading, file transfers, and overall system responsiveness.

For random workloads, the RE100 256GB provides up to 97K IOPS random read and 77K IOPS random write performance, making it suitable for everyday computing, office applications, gaming, and general storage upgrades.

The Acer RE100 supports several data protection and reliability technologies, including Dynamic and Static Wear Leveling, TRIM, S.M.A.R.T., and ECC with 2K LDPC Error Correction. It also comes with support for Biwin Intelligence software for drive management, performance testing, cloning, and data migration.

The drive is rated for up to 140TBW and has an MTBF of up to 2,000,000 hours. Its compact 2.5-inch, 6.7mm-thick design makes it suitable for upgrading both desktop computers and compatible laptops.
