The HIKSEMI HS-HUB-MHC201 2.5″ is a portable external enclosure designed to turn a compatible 2.5-inch SATA HDD or SSD into an external storage drive. It provides a convenient way to reuse an existing internal drive for backup, file transfer, or additional portable storage.

The enclosure features a USB 3.0 interface with transfer speeds of up to 5Gbps, allowing fast data transfer when connected to a compatible USB 3.0 port. It is also backward compatible with USB 2.0 connections.

The HS-HUB-MHC201 supports standard 2.5-inch SATA drives and can accommodate drives with a thickness of up to 9.5mm. Its tool-free design makes installing or removing a drive quick and convenient without requiring additional tools.

A built-in LED indicator shows drive activity, while the compact lightweight design makes the enclosure easy to carry and suitable for use with laptops, desktop PCs, and other compatible USB devices.
