TP-Link TL-WA850RE 300Mbps Wireless N Range Extender

The TP-Link TL-WA850RE is a 300Mbps Wireless N Wi-Fi Range Extender designed to eliminate Wi-Fi dead zones and extend the coverage of an existing wireless network. It operates on the 2.4GHz band and provides wireless speeds of up to 300Mbps.

The TL-WA850RE is designed for simple installation. With the WPS button, users can quickly connect the extender to an existing router. The built-in signal strength indicator helps identify a suitable location for the extender to achieve better wireless coverage.

The device supports both Range Extender and Access Point modes, providing flexibility for different network setups. In Range Extender mode, it receives and retransmits the existing Wi-Fi signal to improve coverage in areas with weak connectivity.

A built-in 10/100Mbps Ethernet port allows wired devices such as smart TVs, game consoles, Blu-ray players, and desktop computers to connect to the network. It can also be used to provide wireless connectivity to a wired network when operating in Access Point mode.

The TL-WA850RE supports IEEE 802.11b/g/n wireless standards and is compatible with virtually any standard Wi-Fi router or wireless access point. Its compact wall-mounted design makes it easy to install without taking up additional desk space.
