Description
The XPG KYBER 850W is a high-performance ATX power supply designed for modern gaming PCs, high-end graphics cards, and demanding desktop systems. It delivers 850W of continuous power with 80 PLUS Gold efficiency and support for the Intel ATX 3.1 standard.
The KYBER 850W features a native 12V-2×6 connector rated for up to 600W, providing a direct power connection for compatible next-generation graphics cards. This makes it well suited for gaming systems equipped with modern high-performance GPUs.
A powerful +12V rail rated at 70.8A provides strong power delivery for the CPU and graphics card. The 850W model can also handle power excursions of up to 1700W for 100 microseconds, equivalent to up to 235% of its rated power.
The KYBER 850W uses a 120mm Fluid Dynamic Bearing (FDB) fan with an intelligent fan curve. The fan is designed to provide effective cooling while keeping operating noise under control during typical workloads.
The power supply carries an 80 PLUS Gold efficiency certification and a Cybenetics Platinum rating for the 850W model. XPG states that the KYBER series can achieve up to 91.40% efficiency at 50% load under 115V testing.
For system protection, the KYBER 850W includes eight industrial-grade protection mechanisms: Over Voltage Protection, Over Power Protection, Short Circuit Protection, Over Current Protection, Under Voltage Protection, Over Temperature Protection, No Load Operation Protection, and Surge & Inrush Protection.
With a compact 140 × 150 × 86mm ATX form factor, the KYBER 850W fits a wide range of modern PC cases. XPG provides a 5-year warranty for the unit.
